Job Description:

The Assembly Line Assembler in Toronto is responsible for performing repetitive tasks along a production line to assemble parts or products in accordance with manufacturing specifications and safety standards. Working under the direction of a production supervisor, the assembler ensures components are correctly fitted, aligned, and fastened using hand tools, power tools, or automated machines.

Key duties include reading assembly diagrams, inspecting parts for quality, operating basic machinery, and reporting any defects or malfunctions to the supervisor. The role also involves handling materials, maintaining a clean work area, and following all health and safety protocols. Speed, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential in maintaining workflow and meeting production quotas.

This position often requires standing for long periods and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The assembler may be assigned to various stations on the production line depending on workload and operational needs.

Job Requirement:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly line work is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training is typically provided.

Skills:

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Familiarity with basic tools and safety procedures.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Physical stamina to stand and perform repetitive tasks.

Language: Basic English communication skills (spoken and written) required.
