Job Description:
The Batch Mixing Operator in Quebec City is responsible for preparing and operating mixing systems to produce consistent, high-quality batches according to production specifications. This role is critical in industries such as food processing, chemicals, paints, or pharmaceuticals, where precise blending of ingredients directly impacts product quality.
Key responsibilities include reading and interpreting batch sheets, weighing and measuring raw materials, loading them into mixers, and setting appropriate mixing times, speeds, and temperatures. The operator monitors the process closely, adjusting as necessary to maintain uniformity and compliance with quality standards. They also perform quality checks on in-process batches, document production data, and maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas to meet safety and hygiene regulations.
By ensuring accurate and efficient mixing operations, the Batch Mixing Operator helps maintain production schedules and product integrity while minimizing waste.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in manufacturing or process operations is beneficial.
Experience: 1–3 years in batch processing, mixing, or manufacturing preferred.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
Basic math and measurement competency
Mechanical skills to operate and troubleshoot mixers
Understanding of safety and quality control standards
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 25–30 kg regularly
Standing for long periods and working in variable temperature environments
