Job Description:

The Batch Production Operator in Quebec City is responsible for managing and executing the production of goods in controlled batches, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with company and industry standards. This role involves setting up and operating manufacturing equipment, monitoring production parameters, and ensuring that each batch meets required specifications.

Key duties include preparing raw materials, loading them into production equipment, adjusting machine settings, and conducting in-process quality checks. The operator records production data, troubleshoots minor equipment issues, and collaborates closely with quality assurance and maintenance teams to maintain smooth operations.

The position also requires adherence to workplace safety procedures, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and ensuring the work environment meets hygiene and safety standards. This role is essential in maintaining consistent product output and meeting production deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Job Requirement:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certification is an asset.

Experience: 1–2 years in manufacturing, production operations, or a related field preferred.

Skills:

Strong understanding of production processes and quality control

Ability to follow batch records and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods

Good hand–eye coordination

Other Requirements:

Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations

Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends if required

Reliable and team-oriented work ethic
