Job Description:
The Component Assembly Technician in Montreal is responsible for assembling mechanical or electronic components used in the production of industrial equipment, consumer goods, or automotive parts. Working from technical drawings, schematics, or assembly instructions, the technician ensures each component is correctly installed and meets quality specifications.
Key responsibilities include preparing parts and subassemblies, aligning and securing components, soldering or fastening materials, testing assembled units, and performing troubleshooting when issues arise. The technician may also calibrate tools, document completed work, and assist with process improvements to enhance efficiency. Regular collaboration with quality control inspectors and engineers ensures product consistency and functionality.

Job Requirement:
Education: Secondary school diploma required; vocational or technical certification in electronics, mechanics, or manufacturing is preferred.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in mechanical or electronic component assembly is advantageous.
