Job Description:
As a Cleaning Crew Member in Salmiyah, you are tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and order of hospitality facilities including hotels, event venues, resorts, and restaurants. This role is integral to the guest experience, ensuring that all areas guests encounter are spotless, inviting, and meet strict hygiene standards.
Cleaning crew members are often responsible for general and deep-cleaning assignments. This may include sweeping and mopping floors, disinfecting bathrooms, cleaning guest rooms, washing windows, removing trash, and restocking sanitary supplies. In high-end hotels and resorts, the work must adhere to luxury standards that go beyond mere tidiness.
Team collaboration is essential, as cleaning assignments are often divided and coordinated among crew members to ensure efficiency. Attention to detail is crucial, especially when cleaning areas that are frequently used by guests such as dining areas, lobbies, elevators, and swimming pools.
Additionally, cleaning crew members are responsible for identifying maintenance needs such as broken fixtures or leaks and reporting these to management. They must handle cleaning supplies safely and wear protective gear when dealing with chemical-based products.
Cleaning schedules may vary, and crew members are often expected to work evenings, weekends, or early morning shifts to minimize disruption to guests. The role demands a professional demeanor, especially when interacting with guests.
