Job Description:
The 3D Character Modeller in Dubai is responsible for creating high-quality digital character models for use in animation, games, films, or simulations. This role focuses on sculpting anatomically accurate, expressive characters with detailed textures, clothing, and accessories while ensuring proper topology for rigging and animation. Working closely with art directors, concept artists, and animators, the modeller interprets character briefs and reference art into fully realized 3D assets. Tasks include sculpting base meshes, applying UV mapping, texturing, and refining facial and body features for realism or stylization, depending on project needs. Proficiency in modeling software, artistic flair, and understanding human and creature anatomy are key to success in this role. Familiarity with industry pipelines and rendering workflows is also required.
Job Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in 3D Animation, Game Art, or Digital Sculpture. At least 3 years of experience in character modeling. Proficiency in software such as ZBrush, Maya, Blender, and Substance Painter. Knowledge of rigging requirements and animation topology. Strong artistic skills, attention to detail, and a solid portfolio of character models.
