Job Description:
The Animation Storyboard Developer in Al Ain plays a pivotal role in visualizing animated scenes by creating detailed storyboards that guide animators, directors, and editors throughout the production process. This role involves interpreting scripts, planning camera angles, illustrating key frames, and ensuring narrative coherence across sequences. The developer works closely with writers, animators, and creative leads to transform conceptual ideas into a visually engaging blueprint. They must accurately depict timing, transitions, character emotions, and action while maintaining the tone and pacing intended for the final animation. The storyboard developer also refines drafts based on feedback, adapts layouts for 2D or 3D workflows, and supports animatics production. An eye for storytelling, composition, and motion is critical.
Job Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Film, Illustration, or Visual Communication. Minimum 3 years of experience in storyboard development. Proficiency in digital drawing tools (Photoshop, Toon Boom Storyboard Pro). Strong understanding of animation principles, cinematography, and storytelling. Strong sketching and visual sequencing abilities.
