Job Description:
The Animator Assistant in Sharjah plays a vital supporting role in animation production by helping senior animators develop, refine, and polish animated sequences. This role involves preparing scene layouts, cleaning up rough animation frames, creating in-between frames, and organizing digital assets for use in animation software. The Animator Assistant also performs tasks such as image tracing, color correction, storyboard adjustments, and background enhancements. The position demands a combination of artistic sensibility and technical discipline to ensure that animation flows are smooth, consistent, and aligned with stylistic guidelines. The assistant may also support asset imports/exports between software platforms and help manage timelines by maintaining version control and file organization. Attention to detail and the ability to quickly adopt team workflows are crucial to success. Working under the direction of animation leads and supervisors, the Animator Assistant helps maintain production quality and speed across animation projects in entertainment, marketing, e-learning, and digital publishing.
Job Requirement:
A diploma or degree in Animation, Digital Art, or Multimedia Design is required, with at least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in animation production. Familiarity with tools like Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, After Effects, or Blender is expected. Strong drawing skills, time management, and willingness to take feedback constructively are important. Candidates should demonstrate a portfolio of basic animations, character motions, or cleanup work.
