Job Description:

The Animator Engineer in Dubai is a key creative-technical role responsible for designing and developing high-quality animations using advanced software and programming tools. This position blends artistic ability with engineering principles to build real-time, physics-based animations for applications such as video games, simulations, film effects, augmented/virtual reality, and educational media. The Animator Engineer collaborates closely with 3D artists, riggers, designers, and software developers to ensure smooth motion and realistic behavior of characters, environments, and objects. Duties include scripting animation behavior, integrating assets into engines like Unity or Unreal, optimizing performance, and developing reusable animation libraries and tools. The role also requires rigorous testing and troubleshooting to ensure animation sequences function properly within technical constraints and platform specifications. The ideal candidate possesses strong aesthetic sensitivity and technical expertise in animation frameworks, real-time rendering, motion capture integration, and inverse kinematics. This role contributes directly to enhancing the quality, realism, and engagement of visual storytelling experiences.

Job Requirement:

A degree in Computer Animation, Computer Science, or Game Development is required. Candidates should have 4–6 years of experience in animation engineering or technical animation for digital media. Proficiency in Maya, Blender, Unity/Unreal Engine, and scripting languages such as Python, C#, or MEL is essential. Strong understanding of animation principles, rigging systems, and character motion is expected. The role demands creative problem-solving skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
