The Antique Furniture Technician in Sharjah specializes in the careful repair and preservation of vintage and antique furniture items. Working in collaboration with collectors, museums, galleries, and restoration companies, the technician handles detailed repairs involving upholstery, structural reinforcement, marquetry, carving, and surface finishing. This role requires a deep understanding of historical furniture styles, wood aging characteristics, and period-authentic restoration practices. Key duties include identifying damage, conducting joinery repairs, replacing missing elements, stabilizing fragile structures, and using chemical-free methods for cleaning or pest removal. Documentation and condition reporting are critical aspects of the job, ensuring accountability and heritage conservation. Job Requirement:
