Job Description:
The Apparel Design Coordinator in Sharjah oversees the coordination and execution of design projects across various apparel lines, including ready-to-wear, couture, and activewear. Working with design teams, pattern makers, and merchandisers, the coordinator ensures that collections align with brand identity, trend forecasts, and seasonal production timelines. Responsibilities include managing design calendars, organizing design reviews, preparing tech packs, liaising with fabric suppliers, and ensuring samples are produced according to specifications. The role also involves collaborating with marketing teams to provide design input for lookbooks, campaigns, and fashion shows. As a key point of contact between creative and production departments, the coordinator ensures the seamless translation of design intent into final garments. The role requires strong organizational skills, aesthetic sensibility, and familiarity with apparel development processes. Job Requirement:
A bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or Apparel Management is essential, with 3–5 years of experience in fashion coordination or production. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and garment specification software is required. Candidates must possess strong communication, time management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
