Highly Qualified Worker Visa

- Similar to the EU Blue Card but for individuals with extraordinary qualifications.
- No minimum salary requirement, but applicants must have a proven track record in their field.

Up to 4 years

For professionals who have exceptional skills or experience and meet a high standard in their respective field. Often used for senior management and top consulting roles.

Permanent Residence (Niederlassungserlaubnis)

- Must have lived in Germany for 5 years with a work visa (or 3 years if on an EU Blue Card).
- Proof of German language proficiency (B1 level).

Permanent

Available to those who have lived and worked in Germany for a sufficient period. It offers long-term residency and the option to eventually apply for citizenship.

Researcher Visa

- For those working in research and development roles.
- Must have an invitation from a recognized research institution.

1 year (can be extended)

A visa for highly skilled professionals in academic, research, or scientific fields. Though focused on research, it can apply to consulting in tech or other knowledge-heavy sectors.

Student Visa (for Post-Graduates)

- Graduates from German universities or recognized foreign institutions.
- Must have job offer relevant to their degree (usually within 12 months of graduation).

18 months (extendable)

For students who complete their studies in Germany and wish to remain to find a job. The post-graduation work visa allows graduates to work in business and management-related jobs.
