Job Description: The Architect position in Brussels, Belgium falls within the Construction & Building industry. As an Architect, your role is to design and oversee the construction or renovation of buildings, ensuring they meet aesthetic, functional, and safety requirements. The key responsibilities of an Architect include: Design and Planning: Creating architectural designs and drawings for new construction projects or renovations, considering factors such as aesthetics, functionality, building codes, and client requirements. Building Regulations and Codes: Ensuring compliance with local building regulations, codes, and zoning requirements throughout the design and construction process. Project Management: Managing all aspects of the architectural project, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with contractors, engineers, and other professionals involved in the construction process. Client Consultation: Collaborating with clients to understand their vision, goals, and requirements for the project, and incorporating their feedback into the design and planning process. Site Analysis: Conducting site visits and analyzing the environmental, geological, and contextual factors that may impact the design and construction of the building. Material Selection: Selecting appropriate building materials, finishes, and systems based on their durability, sustainability, and aesthetic qualities. Construction Oversight: Monitoring the construction progress to ensure that the building is constructed according to the design specifications, quality standards, and within the allotted budget and timeline. Collaboration and Coordination: Working closely with engineers, contractors, interior designers, and other professionals involved in the project to ensure effective collaboration and coordination throughout the construction process. Sustainability and Energy Efficiency: Incorporating sustainable design principles and energy-efficient technologies into the building design to minimize environmental impact and optimize energy performance. Documentation and Presentation: Creating detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and presentations to communicate design concepts, construction details, and material selections to clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

Job Requirement: Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture from an accredited institution. Professional registration or licensure as an architect. Proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices. Excellent design and visualization skills. Strong project management and organizational skills. Effective communication and presentation skills. Attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
