Job Description: We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Employment & Labour Lawyer to join our legal team in Mississauga, Canada. As an Employment & Labour Lawyer in the Legal & Compliance industry, you will play a critical role in advising clients on various employment and labour law matters. Your expertise in employment contracts, workplace policies, and dispute resolution will contribute to the success of our clients' employment practices. Responsibilities: Provide legal advice and guidance on employment and labour law matters, including employee contracts, terminations, and workplace policies. Assist in drafting and reviewing employment agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other employment-related documents. Conduct legal research and analysis on employment legislation and case law. Represent clients in employment-related disputes, including negotiations, mediations, and litigation. Develop and deliver training programs on employment law compliance and best practices. Stay updated on changes in employment legislation and communicate their impact to clients. Assist in conducting workplace investigations and developing appropriate action plans. Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to develop effective employment strategies and policies.

Job Requirement: Law degree from an accredited institution and membership in good standing with the relevant bar association. Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing employment and labour law, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department. Strong knowledge of employment legislation, regulations, and case law. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Attention to detail and ability to work with precision. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. Professionalism, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information. Experience in dispute resolution and litigation is preferred.
