Job Description: Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced and knowledgeable General Counsel to join our team in Seoul, South Korea. As a General Counsel, you will be responsible for overseeing the legal affairs of our organization and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Your expertise in legal matters, strong leadership skills, and strategic thinking will contribute to the success and protection of our business interests. Key Responsibilities: Legal advisory: Provide legal advice and guidance to the management team and various departments on a wide range of legal issues, including contracts, regulatory compliance, employment law, intellectual property, and litigation. Contract management: Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts, agreements, and legal documents to protect the interests of the organization. Compliance management: Develop and implement compliance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations. Risk management: Identify legal risks and proactively develop strategies to mitigate them. Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization and recommend appropriate actions. Corporate governance: Assist in corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder meetings, and corporate filings. Dispute resolution: Manage legal disputes and litigation, working closely with external counsel when necessary. Represent the organization in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions. Intellectual property: Oversee intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents, ensuring proper protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights. External stakeholder management: Collaborate with external legal counsel, regulatory bodies, government agencies, and other stakeholders to represent the organization's interests. Legal research and analysis: Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends. Provide timely and accurate legal advice based on the research findings. Legal compliance training: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on legal matters and promote a culture of compliance within the organization.

Job Requirement: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Law or Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Admission to the bar in South Korea is required. Minimum of [X] years of experience practicing law, with a focus on corporate and commercial law. In-house experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of South Korean laws and regulations relevant to the organization's industry. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong leadership and management abilities with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders. High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Korean is required.
