Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled General Counsel to join our Legal & Compliance team in Stockholm, Sweden. As a General Counsel, you will be the key legal advisor for our organization, providing expert legal counsel and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities: Legal Advisory: Offer expert legal advice and guidance to executives and management on a wide range of legal matters impacting the organization's operations and business strategies. Contract Negotiation: Oversee the negotiation and drafting of various contracts, agreements, and legal documents, ensuring they align with company interests and adhere to legal standards. Regulatory Compliance: Monitor changes in laws and regulations relevant to the industry and ensure the organization's compliance with legal requirements. Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and provide proactive strategies to mitigate and manage legal exposure. Dispute Resolution: Manage and oversee legal disputes, including litigation and arbitration, working with external legal counsel as needed. Corporate Governance: Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements and provide guidance on corporate matters. Intellectual Property: Safeguard and manage the organization's intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents. Training and Education: Conduct legal training sessions for employees to raise awareness of legal issues and promote compliance within the organization.
Job Requirement: Requirements: Education and Experience: Law degree from a reputable university and significant experience as a practicing attorney, with prior experience as a General Counsel preferred. Legal Expertise: Strong knowledge and expertise in various areas of law, including contract law, corporate law, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution. Strategic Thinking: Ability to provide strategic legal advice that aligns with the organization's business objectives and long-term goals. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex legal issues effectively. Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and regulatory authorities.
