Job Description: A company in Dubai, UAE is seeking a Janitor to join their building cleaning and maintenance team. The Janitor will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of various areas within the building, promoting a safe and hygienic environment for occupants and visitors. The role requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors, hallways, offices, and common areas. Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring proper disinfection of fixtures, replenishment of supplies, and maintenance of hygiene standards. Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned areas, ensuring they are free from debris and hazards. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor promptly. Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with setting up and arranging furniture, equipment, and other items as required. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is preferred, especially in a commercial or building maintenance setting. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and materials used in building maintenance. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods. Basic understanding of safety procedures and the ability to follow instructions and guidelines. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well independently or as part of a team. Flexibility to work during non-standard hours or weekends as required.
