Job Description: Responsibilities: Design Development: Create and develop architectural designs for residential, commercial, or institutional projects, considering client requirements, building codes, and environmental factors. Conceptualization: Generate innovative design concepts, sketches, and 3D visualizations to communicate ideas and propose design solutions. Technical Drawings: Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Building Regulations: Ensure compliance with local building regulations, codes, and zoning requirements in all design and construction phases. Project Management: Oversee the architectural aspects of projects, coordinating with clients, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Site Analysis: Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate site conditions, analyze constraints, and integrate them into the design process. Material Selection: Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, and construction techniques that meet project requirements and sustainability standards. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including structural engineers, interior designers, and contractors, to ensure design integration and project coordination. Client Consultation: Engage in discussions with clients to understand their design preferences, functional needs, and budgetary constraints. Construction Administration: Provide support during the construction phase, reviewing shop drawings, addressing design-related queries, and conducting site visits to monitor construction progress and quality.

Job Requirement: Requirements: Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited institution. Experience: Relevant experience in architectural design and project management, preferably in the construction and building industry. Design Skills: Proficiency in architectural design principles, space planning, and visual communication, utilizing design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of building systems, construction methods, and materials, as well as familiarity with sustainable design practices. Building Codes: Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and planning processes. Collaboration: Strong teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders. Creativity: Ability to think creatively, develop unique design solutions, and balance aesthetic considerations with functional requirements. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address design challenges and propose viable solutions. Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines and handle multiple tasks concurrently. Professional Registration: Professional architectural registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant architectural governing body in the UK would be advantageous.
