 Employer initiates the process through the Qatar Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (MADLSA).

1-2 years (renewable)

Required for all international candidates working in healthcare roles. The employer acts as the sponsor.

2. Qatar ID (QID)

 Successful employment visa application

 After the work visa is approved, candidates must apply for a Qatar IDthrough Qatar’s Ministry of Interior.

Valid during employment

QID serves as a legal identification for expats living and working in Qatar. It’s mandatory for foreigners working in Qatar.

3. Health/Medical Examination Visa

-Required medical tests (usually TB, HIV, and other communicable diseases)

 Candidates must undergo medical screening at accredited medical centers as part of the visa process.
