Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications for construction or installation purposes. Equipment Selection and Procurement: Select appropriate electrical equipment, devices, and materials for projects. Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to procure high-quality components and ensure timely delivery. Installation and Testing: Oversee electrical system installation, wiring, and connection of equipment. Conduct testing, inspection, and commissioning to ensure proper functioning, compliance with specifications, and adherence to safety protocols. Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identify and resolve electrical issues, malfunctions, or breakdowns in a timely manner. Conduct maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs to ensure continuous operation and performance optimization. Safety and Compliance: Ensure electrical systems and installations comply with local and international electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. Implement and maintain safety protocols, including grounding, protection systems, and equipment grounding. Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and engineers, to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and timely resolution of technical issues. Job Requirement: Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Professional licensure is preferred. Proven experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the design and implementation of electrical systems. Proficiency in electrical design software, such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or ETAP. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards. Familiarity with electrical equipment, components, and materials.
