Job Description:

As a Clinical Lab Assistant in Bruges, the role involves delivering high-quality healthcare and support services within a multidisciplinary medical environment. Responsibilities include providing patient-centered care, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize outcomes. The professional will support medical operations through diagnostics, therapeutic care, or technical assistance depending on the specialization. Additionally, the Clinical Lab Assistant may assist in treatment planning, patient monitoring, health education, and post-care procedures in hospitals, clinics, long-term facilities, or home-care settings. Excellent interpersonal communication, empathy, and technical proficiency are essential in this role. The candidate must understand and follow Belgium’s healthcare regulations and institutional policies to ensure safety and quality of service delivery. Daily tasks can include patient handling, equipment operation, sample processing, or ensuring a sterile and functional environment. Job Requirement:

• Familiarity with Belgium’s healthcare compliance and privacy regulations

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays

• Knowledge of medical protocols and safety standards

• Experience working in a hospital, clinic, or care facility

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role

• Experience with patient mobility and hygiene support

• Certification in Health and Safety Training is preferred
