Job Description: Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Drilling Engineer to join our team in Brussels, Belgium. As a Drilling Engineer, you will play a vital role in the planning, design, and execution of drilling operations for the energy and utilities industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficient and safe extraction of natural resources. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop drilling plans and strategies that align with project goals and objectives. Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analysis to determine the optimal drilling techniques and equipment. Design and oversee the construction of wellbore configurations, including casing, cementing, and drilling fluid programs. Develop drilling procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements. Monitor drilling operations, evaluate performance data, and make real-time adjustments to optimize drilling efficiency and wellbore integrity. Troubleshoot and resolve drilling-related issues, including wellbore stability, fluid loss, and equipment failures. Provide technical support and guidance to drilling crews, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure drilling equipment, materials, and services. Conduct post-drilling analyses and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned. Stay updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and emerging trends in drilling engineering.

Job Requirement: Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is advantageous. Proven experience in drilling engineering within the Energy & Utilities industry. Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, equipment, and procedures. Familiarity with drilling software and modeling tools. Understanding of safety regulations and environmental guidelines related to drilling operations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks. Willingness to work in challenging and remote locations. Fluency in English. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
