Job Description: We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Janitor to join our building cleaning and maintenance team in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and a safe environment within our facilities, contributing to a positive experience for occupants and visitors. Responsibilities: Cleaning and Sanitization: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming, to maintain a clean and hygienic environment in common areas, offices, restrooms, and other assigned spaces. Waste Management: Collect, sort, and dispose of waste and recyclables according to established procedures and guidelines, promoting environmentally friendly practices. Surface Maintenance: Clean and maintain various surfaces, such as windows, glass, mirrors, walls, and floors, using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Restroom Maintenance: Ensure restrooms are clean, well-stocked with supplies, and sanitized regularly, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures. Stock and Inventory: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and janitorial equipment, ensuring an adequate stock level for efficient operations. Safety and Security: Identify and report any safety hazards, damages, or maintenance issues in the building or premises to the appropriate authorities or supervisors. Emergency Response: Follow emergency protocols and procedures, including fire safety, evacuation procedures, and responding to spills or accidents promptly and efficiently. Customer Service: Interact with building occupants, visitors, and colleagues in a courteous and professional manner, providing assistance when needed and addressing any concerns promptly. Adherence to Regulations: Follow established cleaning protocols, health and safety guidelines, and company policies to maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Teamwork and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other janitorial staff and maintenance personnel, assisting in tasks as needed to ensure a well-maintained and clean building environment.
Job Requirement: Requirements: Experience: Prior experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is preferred, particularly in commercial or residential buildings.
