Job Description: We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team in Toronto, Canada. As a Custodian, your main responsibility will be to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of our building. You will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces. You will also be responsible for emptying trash bins, restocking supplies, and maintaining inventory of cleaning materials. Additionally, you may be required to perform minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or repairing fixtures.
Job Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a custodian or in a similar role is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and moving heavy objects. Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies. Knowledge of cleaning protocols and safety procedures. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks and ability to perform minor repairs.
