Job Description:
The Ready-Mix Concrete Operator in Quebec City is responsible for batching, mixing, and preparing concrete for delivery in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. Working in a batching plant environment, the operator ensures precise measurement and blending of raw materials such as cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures to produce consistent and high-quality concrete.
Key duties include operating computerized batching systems, adjusting mix designs based on environmental and job site conditions, monitoring moisture levels, and maintaining plant cleanliness and operational efficiency. The operator must coordinate with dispatchers, quality control technicians, and mixer drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
The role involves regular equipment checks, troubleshooting minor faults in batching systems, and maintaining daily production records. Strict adherence to environmental and safety regulations is essential. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented industrial setting.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in concrete technology is an asset.
Experience: 2+ years in ready-mix plant or construction material production preferred.

Strong math, measurement, and documentation skills.
