Job Description:
An Architectural Lighting Designer creates lighting schemes for buildings, spaces, and landscapes, enhancing the architectural features and ambiance. They work with architects and designers to integrate lighting into the design, creating functional and visually appealing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design lighting systems for residential, commercial, and public spaces.
Work with architects and interior designers to ensure that lighting complements the overall design.
Select and install appropriate lighting fixtures, considering energy efficiency and aesthetic appeal.
Create lighting layouts and schematics using CAD software.
Test and adjust lighting to ensure functionality and meet client expectations.
Job Requirement:
A degree in Architecture, Lighting Design, or a related field.
Proven experience in architectural lighting design with a portfolio.
Proficiency in lighting design software such as AutoCAD and Dialux.
Strong knowledge of lighting techniques and technologies.
Ability to work collaboratively with architects and designers.
