Job Description: Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Architect to join our team in Paris, France. As an Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction and renovation of buildings, ensuring they meet the client's requirements, adhere to building codes and regulations, and are aesthetically appealing. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and other professionals to create innovative and functional designs. Your role will involve preparing drawings, specifications, and cost estimates, as well as managing projects from conception to completion. Responsibilities: Design and Planning: Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget for the project. Create architectural designs, including sketches, drawings, and 3D models, using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Develop comprehensive architectural plans that integrate functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability. Ensure designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and zoning requirements. Conduct site evaluations to assess environmental and structural considerations for the project. Project Management: Prepare detailed construction documents, including architectural drawings, specifications, and materials lists. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. Review and evaluate contractor bids and select appropriate vendors for the project. Oversee the construction process, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to design specifications. Resolve any design or construction-related issues that may arise during the project. Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and address any concerns. Present design proposals, plans, and progress reports to clients for approval. Collaborate with clients to incorporate their feedback and make necessary design revisions. Provide guidance and recommendations to clients regarding material selection, finishes, and fixtures. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with engineers, interior designers, and other professionals to coordinate project requirements. Collaborate with construction teams to ensure the implementation of the design aligns with the vision. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to design discussions and problem-solving.
Job Requirement: Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Proven experience as an Architect, preferably in the construction industry. Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices. Excellent design and visualization skills. Attention to detail and ability to create accurate and comprehensive construction documents. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Knowledge of sustainable design principles is a plus. Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) is required.
