We are seeking a Chimney Cleaning Specialist in Hamburg to join our building maintenance team. This role focuses on inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining chimneys and ventilation systems for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in chimney servicing and a solid understanding of fire safety and ventilation system efficiency.
Key responsibilities include sweeping and removing soot, creosote, and blockages from chimneys, flues, and stove systems using specialized rods and vacuum systems. You will also inspect for cracks, leaks, or structural issues and provide safety reports and maintenance recommendations to property owners. Ensuring systems comply with German building and fire safety codes is a key part of the job.
You will be required to work at heights, on rooftops, and in enclosed spaces while wearing appropriate protective gear. Clear documentation and customer communication are essential. This role plays a vital part in preventing fire hazards and ensuring energy efficiency in heating systems.
