Job Description:

We are hiring a Diesel Engine Technician to join our fleet maintenance team in Berlin. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines used in a variety of vehicles and equipment, including trucks, buses, generators, and construction machinery. Your work ensures engine reliability, efficiency, and compliance with emissions standards.

Key duties include performing engine overhauls, replacing worn or damaged parts, tuning injection systems, and conducting performance and emission tests. You will also carry out preventive maintenance, maintain detailed service records, and collaborate with other technicians to complete complex repairs and modifications.

This position is well-suited for professionals who are passionate about diesel technology and enjoy hands-on mechanical work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Requirement:

Candidates must have a vocational diploma or technical certification in diesel mechanics, automotive technology, or a related field. Prior experience servicing diesel engines is required, ideally in commercial vehicles or heavy equipment.

Applicants must be skilled in engine diagnostics, fuel system repairs, turbocharger maintenance, and interpreting fault codes using diagnostic software. Familiarity with emissions control systems and compliance regulations is essential.

You should possess strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow service manuals and technical specifications. Good communication, time management, and a commitment to workplace safety are also critical. Experience with electronic control modules (ECMs) and fleet maintenance software is an advantage.
