Job Description:
We are hiring a skilled Lift Truck Operator to join our warehouse logistics team in Berlin. This position involves operating forklifts and other lifting equipment to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse facility, supporting efficient supply chain operations.
Responsibilities include safely transporting pallets and containers, loading and unloading delivery trucks, stacking materials, restocking storage racks, and ensuring the proper documentation of inventory movement. The operator must perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance issues promptly.
This role is ideal for individuals with experience in warehouse machinery who value precision, safety, and efficiency.
Job Requirement:
Candidates must have a valid forklift operation certification and prior experience as a forklift or lift truck operator in a warehouse, logistics, or industrial environment.
Applicants must be physically capable of operating heavy machinery for extended periods and should demonstrate sound judgment when navigating busy or confined warehouse spaces. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is beneficial.
Strong attention to safety, time management skills, and the ability to follow instructions are required. Basic communication skills in German or English are necessary for coordination with team members and understanding shipping documentation.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends, is preferred.
