Follow established cleaning procedures and use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Waste Management: Collect and dispose of waste and recycling materials in designated bins or areas. Ensure proper handling and disposal according to environmental and safety regulations. Surface and Equipment Maintenance: Clean and sanitize surfaces, such as windows, glass panels, countertops, and fixtures. Polish metal surfaces and maintain the cleanliness of furniture, equipment, and appliances. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel. Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors. Restock restroom supplies, such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper, as needed. Floor Care: Perform floor care tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and waxing, to maintain clean and well-maintained floors. Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment for different floor surfaces, ensuring safety and durability. Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure environment by identifying and promptly addressing potential hazards, such as spills, damaged equipment, or obstructions. Follow safety procedures and report any incidents or accidents to the appropriate authorities. Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain janitorial supplies and equipment inventory. Place orders for replenishment in a timely manner to ensure an adequate supply of cleaning materials and tools. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other janitorial staff and building management to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations. Collaborate with colleagues to address specific cleaning needs or special projects as required.
Job Requirement: Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in janitorial or building cleaning roles is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, procedures, and the safe use of cleaning agents and equipment. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment. Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and operate cleaning equipment. Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
