Job Description: Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Budapest, Hungary. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production and high-quality products. Key Responsibilities: Process Design and Improvement: Design and develop manufacturing processes, workflows, and procedures for new products or enhancements. Identify areas for process improvement, implement lean manufacturing principles, and optimize productivity and efficiency. Equipment and Tooling: Select, evaluate, and recommend appropriate manufacturing equipment, machinery, and tooling to support production needs. Collaborate with equipment suppliers and maintenance teams to ensure proper installation, maintenance, and calibration. Production Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production managers, engineers, and designers, to develop production schedules and capacity planning. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components. Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control procedures, inspection methods, and testing protocols to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications. Collaborate with quality teams to address non-conformities and implement corrective actions. Process Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of manufacturing processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures. Train production staff on new processes and ensure compliance with established procedures. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, such as cycle time reduction, waste reduction, and cost optimization. Implement tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Kaizen, to drive process enhancements. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry guidelines in manufacturing operations. Promote and enforce a culture of safety and adherence to established protocols. Collaborative Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues, address production challenges, and support new product development. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide technical support to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
Job Requirement: Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, process design, and improvement. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, and lean manufacturing principles. Proficiency in using CAD/CAM software and manufacturing software tools. Familiarity with quality control methods, statistical process control, and problem-solving techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address manufacturing challenges and optimize production processes. Excellent project management and organizational abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and team interaction. Attention to detail and accuracy in process documentation and analysis. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Fluency in English and Hungarian languages is preferred.
