Job Description: Summary: We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Welders and Solderers to join our team in Budapest, Hungary. As a Welder and Solderer, you will be responsible for welding and soldering various components and structures in the shipbuilding and ship machinery industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in welding and soldering within the shipbuilding and ship machinery industry. Key Responsibilities: Welding and Soldering: Perform welding and soldering operations on metal components and structures using appropriate techniques, tools, and equipment. Ensure high-quality welds and solder joints following industry standards and safety regulations. Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding/soldering specifications to determine welding and soldering requirements and procedures. Verify dimensions, materials, and welding symbols. Material Preparation: Prepare materials for welding and soldering, including cleaning, cutting, and shaping. Select and set up welding/soldering equipment, ensuring proper settings and safety precautions. Weld Inspection and Quality Control: Inspect completed welds and solder joints for defects, such as cracks, voids, or excessive porosity. Perform quality control checks to ensure adherence to specifications and standards. Welding and Soldering Techniques: Utilize various welding and soldering techniques, such as arc welding, gas welding, TIG welding, MIG welding, or brazing, depending on the specific project requirements. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment and maintaining a safe work environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion. Communicate effectively to discuss project requirements, resolve issues, and provide progress updates. Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine maintenance and repair of welding/soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance. Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs as needed.
Job Requirement: Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in welding or soldering is preferred. Proven experience as a Welder and Solderer, preferably in the shipbuilding and ship machinery industry. Proficiency in welding and soldering techniques, including arc welding, gas welding, TIG welding, MIG welding, and brazing. Strong knowledge of welding and soldering principles, techniques, and safety practices. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding/soldering specifications. Familiarity with different types of welding/soldering equipment and tools. Attention to detail and accuracy in welding and soldering operations. Physical stamina and ability to work in various positions and environments. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Fluency in English and Hungarian languages is preferred.
