We are looking for a qualified Mining Engineer to join our quarry operations in Carrara, a globally recognized hub for marble extraction. The role involves planning, coordinating, and optimizing mining activities while ensuring adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing mining plans, supervising drilling and blasting operations, and collaborating with geologists and surveyors. The Mining Engineer will also monitor equipment performance, manage resources efficiently, and contribute to sustainability and site rehabilitation efforts.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field, with 3–5 years of relevant experience—preferably in marble, stone, or surface mining operations. Proficiency in mining software (e.g., Surpac, AutoCAD), understanding of EU HSE standards, and strong analytical and communication skills are essential. Knowledge of Italian is a plus but not mandatory.

To be considered for the position of Mining Engineer in Bolzano, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related technical discipline. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in mining operations—preferably in surface mining, mineral extraction, or quarrying—is required. Familiarity with Alpine geology or operations in mountainous terrain is a plus due to the region's topography.
Applicants must demonstrate strong proficiency in mine planning and design software, such as Surpac, AutoCAD, or similar tools, and possess a clear understanding of EU and Italian mining regulations, particularly those related to safety and environmental compliance. Experience with blasting operations, equipment scheduling, and production optimization is essential.
Fluency in English is required for international collaboration and technical documentation. Proficiency in Italian or German (commonly spoken in Bolzano) is strongly preferred for local coordination and regulatory communication. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary to manage cross-functional teams and ensure efficient site operations.
Candidates must also be physically fit and willing to work in outdoor and rugged environments. A valid EU work authorization or an employer-sponsored Italian work visa is mandatory for non-EU applicants.
