Job Description: Summary: We are currently seeking a diligent and responsible Janitor to join our building cleaning and maintenance team in Malacca, Malaysia. The Janitor will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and proper upkeep of the building, creating a safe and pleasant environment for occupants and visitors. Key Responsibilities: Cleaning and Sanitization: Perform regular cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing various areas of the building such as offices, corridors, restrooms, and common spaces. Waste Disposal: Collect and dispose of trash, recyclables, and waste in a hygienic and environmentally-friendly manner. Floor Care: Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors by mopping, waxing, and polishing to ensure a safe and attractive surface. Restroom Maintenance: Keep restrooms clean and well-stocked with supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and hand towels, and ensure they are in proper working condition. Window and Glass Cleaning: Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to maintain a clear and spotless appearance. Light Maintenance: Address minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and reporting any issues requiring repair to the appropriate personnel. Security and Safety: Monitor the premises to identify and report any security concerns or safety hazards promptly. Stock Inventory: Keep track of cleaning and maintenance supplies, and assist in inventory management to ensure an adequate supply of essential items. Adherence to Regulations: Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to maintain compliance with industry standards. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other members of the cleaning and maintenance team to accomplish daily tasks efficiently.
