We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Mining Engineer to join our resource development team in Heerlen, Netherlands. As a Mining Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, development, and optimization of mining operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and sustainable extraction of minerals.
Key responsibilities include designing mine layouts, developing short- and long-term production plans, conducting feasibility studies, and collaborating with geologists, environmental specialists, and safety officers. You will also monitor operational performance, evaluate equipment needs, and contribute to the implementation of modern mining technologies.
The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of both surface and underground mining techniques, as well as a commitment to environmental and safety standards. Experience with mining software such as Surpac, Vulcan, or MineSight is highly preferred.
Fluency in English is required; Dutch proficiency is an asset for local regulatory communication. A degree in Mining Engineering or a related field is essential.

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Mining Engineer to support our mineral extraction and development projects in Heerlen, Netherlands. The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in mining operations, mine planning, or resource development. Experience with both open-pit and underground mining is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in mining design and planning software such as Surpac, Vulcan, MineSight, or similar tools. Solid understanding of mine ventilation, rock mechanics, drilling and blasting techniques, and slope stability.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to evaluate resource estimates, production efficiency, and safety measures.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with EU and Dutch mining regulations, environmental impact assessments, and safety compliance standards.
Language: Fluency in English is required; Dutch proficiency is highly desirable for regulatory and on-site communication.
Teamwork: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including geologists, surveyors, and safety officers.
Legal Status: Must have the legal right to work in the Netherlands (EU citizenship or valid Dutch work permit).
