We are seeking a talented and motivated Biotech Research Scientist to join our dynamic team in Oman. As a key member of our research and development division, you will be responsible for conducting innovative research in biotechnology, particularly in areas such as molecular biology, genetic engineering, and microbiology. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, conduct, and analyze experiments, contributing to the development of new biotech products, therapies, and technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing and executing laboratory experiments related to biotechnology research.
Analyzing experimental data and preparing detailed reports.
Collaborating with other scientists, engineers, and medical professionals to advance product development.
Contributing to the preparation of scientific publications and presentations.
Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Staying updated on the latest biotech trends and innovations to apply new techniques and technologies to research.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
Strong experience with laboratory techniques, including PCR, cell culture, and protein purification.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

To be successful in the role of Biotech Research Scientist, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
Relevant postdoctoral experience is preferred for Ph.D. candidates.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, Western blotting, DNA/RNA sequencing, and cell culture.
Hands-on experience with genetic engineering, CRISPR technology, and bioinformatics tools.
Knowledge of laboratory equipment and safety protocols.
Experience:
At least 2-3 years of experience in a research laboratory, preferably in a biotech or life sciences setting.
Familiarity with experimental design, data analysis, and scientific reporting.
Experience in the development of biotech products or therapies is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to present research findings clearly.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
