We are seeking a dedicated Plant Propagation Specialist to join our team within the Agriculture & Fisheries sector in Oman. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant biology, horticulture, or a related field, with hands-on experience in plant propagation techniques such as seed germination, grafting, budding, and tissue culture. Responsibilities include developing and implementing effective propagation strategies, maintaining propagation facilities, and ensuring optimal plant health and growth conditions. The specialist will also monitor and record propagation success rates, collaborate with agricultural engineers and agronomists, and contribute to research initiatives aimed at improving crop yield and sustainability. Familiarity with native and commercial plant species in Oman is essential. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for sustainable agriculture. Candidates should possess a degree or diploma in agriculture, horticulture, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
