Job Description:

The Fisheries Operations Manager in Barnaul oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of fisheries production activities across aquaculture farms, hatcheries, and fish processing units. This leadership role ensures efficient, sustainable, and regulatory-compliant fish production and harvest operations, playing a critical part in supporting regional food security and economic growth in the Altai Krai region.

Key responsibilities include supervising fish cultivation cycles, managing feed schedules, monitoring water quality parameters, and ensuring biosecurity standards are upheld. The manager coordinates with biologists, technicians, and logistics personnel to optimize fish growth and reduce mortality. They also handle staff management, budgeting, inventory tracking, and liaising with regulatory authorities to maintain environmental and operational compliance.

Additionally, the Fisheries Operations Manager may be involved in evaluating new technologies, developing risk mitigation strategies, and contributing to strategic expansion or sustainability initiatives within the fisheries sector in southern Siberia.
