As a Drift Miner, you will be responsible for creating horizontal tunnels (drifts) for mining and utility purposes. This includes excavation, installation of ground supports, and proper ventilation within the drift. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of underground mining procedures and familiarity with equipment such as drilling machines, loaders, and rock bolters. Key duties include blasting or mechanical excavation, mucking out debris, installing ground support systems, and ensuring ventilation and water control within the drift. You will also adhere to all operational, environmental, and safety guidelines.
