Job Description: Summary: We are currently seeking a talented and creative Architect to join our architectural firm in Seoul, South Korea. As an Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of buildings and structures, ensuring functionality, aesthetic appeal, and adherence to relevant codes and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Design Development: Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, vision, and budget. Develop innovative and functional design concepts that meet the client's needs and align with project objectives. Architectural Drawings: Prepare detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with building codes and regulations. 3D Modeling and Visualization: Utilize architectural software and tools to create 3D models, renderings, and virtual walkthroughs of proposed designs. Present visualizations to clients for better understanding and decision-making. Material Selection and Specifications: Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, and fixtures for architectural projects. Create specifications and collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality and compatibility. Construction Oversight: Monitor construction progress, conduct site visits, and collaborate with contractors and engineers to ensure that the design is executed accurately and meets the desired standards. Address design-related issues and provide solutions as they arise. Code Compliance: Stay up to date with local building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards. Ensure that architectural designs and construction processes adhere to all relevant regulations and obtain necessary permits and approvals. Project Management: Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors. Develop project schedules, track progress, manage budgets, and ensure timely completion of architectural projects. Client Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients throughout the design and construction phases. Present design proposals, address client feedback, and provide regular project updates to ensure client satisfaction.
Job Requirement: Requirements: Degree in Architecture or a related field. Proven experience as an Architect, preferably in a design or architectural firm. Proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of architectural principles, building materials, and construction techniques. Ability to create accurate and detailed architectural drawings and specifications. Excellent creativity and design skills, with a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality. Strong project management and organizational abilities. Effective communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permit processes in South Korea. Fluency in Korean; proficiency in English is beneficial for collaboration with international clients and consultants.
