Job Description:
We are hiring a Broadcast Sound Technician in Valencia to operate and manage audio systems for live and recorded broadcasts. You will be responsible for setting up microphones, mixers, and audio processing equipment to ensure high-quality sound output during television or radio programming.
Your tasks will include monitoring sound levels, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the clarity and balance of audio feeds during live transmissions. You will work closely with production teams to implement creative sound solutions and maintain compliance with broadcast regulations.
This role requires attention to technical detail and fast response in live production environments.
Job Requirement:
An associate degree or diploma in audio engineering, media production, or related field is preferred. Hands-on experience with digital and analog audio consoles, patch panels, and live mixing software is essential.
Knowledge of signal routing, noise reduction, and audio processing tools is required. Familiarity with broadcasting standards and FCC/EBU audio regulations is an advantage.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure during live events are necessary. Applicants must be fluent in English or Spanish and have legal authorization to work in Spain.
