Job Description: Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Event Manager to join our team in Seoul, South Korea. As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events, including conferences, meetings, weddings, and social gatherings. Your expertise in event management, strong organizational skills, and customer focus will ensure the successful delivery of memorable and exceptional events. Key Responsibilities: Event planning and coordination: Plan, organize, and coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, logistics, catering, audiovisual equipment, and guest accommodations. Client management: Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their event requirements, and providing personalized service and support throughout the planning process. Budget management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while delivering high-quality experiences within client expectations. Vendor and supplier coordination: Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, such as caterers, decorators, entertainers, and equipment providers. Event promotion and marketing: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop event marketing strategies, including online and offline promotions, to attract attendees and maximize event exposure. On-site event management: Oversee the execution of events, ensuring smooth operations, adherence to timelines, and excellent customer service. Team leadership: Lead and manage event staff, including coordinators, support personnel, and volunteers, delegating tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring efficient teamwork. Risk assessment and contingency planning: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with events, developing contingency plans and addressing issues that may arise during the planning and execution phases. Post-event evaluation and analysis: Conduct post-event evaluations, analyzing feedback from clients and attendees, and identifying areas for improvement to enhance future events. Stay updated on industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends and innovations in event management, incorporating new ideas and technologies to deliver memorable and cutting-edge events.

Job Requirement: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus. Proven experience as an Event Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality and tourism industry. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, vendors, and team members. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to design and deliver unique and engaging event experiences. Budgeting and financial management skills, with a focus on cost control and revenue generation. Proficiency in event management software and tools. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Korean is required. Knowledge of local venues, suppliers, and regulations in Seoul, South Korea.
