Job Description: Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Livestock Farmer to join our agricultural operation in Seoul, South Korea. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing various aspects of livestock farming, with a primary focus on animal husbandry and ensuring the well-being and productivity of our livestock. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the agricultural industry in South Korea while working in a dynamic and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities: Animal Care: Provide daily care and maintenance for livestock, including feeding, watering, and ensuring proper hygiene. Monitor and address any health issues or injuries that may arise, and administer necessary medications or treatments. Breeding and Reproduction: Manage breeding programs to ensure successful reproduction and genetic improvement. Monitor mating cycles, oversee artificial insemination processes, and assist with the birthing and rearing of offspring. Nutrition and Feeding: Develop and implement appropriate feeding programs for livestock, considering their specific dietary needs. Source and manage the supply of quality feed and supplements. Facility Management: Oversee the construction and maintenance of livestock housing facilities, ensuring they meet the required standards for comfort, safety, and hygiene. Implement biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of livestock inventory, breeding cycles, health records, and other important data. Use this information to make informed decisions and optimize herd management practices. Quality Control: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in livestock farming. Implement quality control measures to guarantee the safety and quality of livestock products. Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of agricultural workers and veterinarians to coordinate daily tasks and address any operational challenges. Provide training and guidance to junior staff as needed. Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with advancements in livestock farming techniques, industry trends, and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement innovative practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Job Requirement: Requirements: Previous experience in livestock farming, preferably in a similar role. Strong knowledge of animal husbandry practices and livestock management. Familiarity with breeding programs and reproductive techniques. Understanding of nutrition and feed formulation for different types of livestock. Ability to manage livestock facilities and implement biosecurity measures. Excellent record-keeping and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work outdoors and in various weather conditions. Fluent in Korean; proficiency in English is a plus.
