Job Description: We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented individuals to join our Building Cleaning & Maintenance team as Janitors in Stockholm, Sweden. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of buildings and facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for occupants and visitors. Your expertise in cleaning and maintenance tasks will contribute to the overall upkeep and efficiency of our properties. Key Responsibilities: Cleaning Tasks: Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming, to maintain the cleanliness of floors, surfaces, and common areas. Waste Disposal: Collect and dispose of trash, recyclables, and other waste materials according to designated disposal procedures. Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies. Facility Upkeep: Inspect and report any damages or maintenance issues in the building, such as leakages or faulty equipment. Floor Care: Maintain and care for various types of flooring, including carpet, tile, and hardwood, by performing regular cleaning and maintenance tasks. Window Cleaning: Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to ensure a clean and clear appearance. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe working environment. Building Security: Monitor building security and report any suspicious activities or safety concerns to appropriate authorities. Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional customer service to building occupants and visitors, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
Job Requirement: Qualifications and Requirements: No formal education or specific qualifications are required; we welcome individuals with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Proven experience as a Janitor or in a similar cleaning and maintenance role is advantageous. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in building maintenance. Physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding cleaning tasks and lift heavy objects. Attention to detail in cleaning and maintaining building areas to high standards. Effective communication skills to interact with building occupants and team members. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required. Proficiency in Swedish is required, and basic English language skills are beneficial.
