Job Description:
As a Buyout Specialist in Bern, you will focus on executing leveraged buyout (LBO) transactions by analyzing potential acquisition targets and structuring deals. You will work closely with deal teams to perform financial due diligence, build LBO models, and negotiate terms. Bern’s central location provides access to various industries and government institutions. You will monitor portfolio companies’ performance post-acquisition and support exit strategies. This role demands strong financial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.
Job Requirement:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
4+ years of experience in private equity or investment banking
Expertise in LBO modeling and deal structuring
Strong negotiation and project management skills
Proficient in financial software and Excel
Excellent communication and analytical abilities
Fluent in English; German or French is a plus
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
