Job Description:
As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Basel, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial integrity and compliance of the organization’s operations. Your responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, conducting internal and external audits, ensuring tax compliance, and offering strategic advice on financial planning and risk management. Working in Basel, a key hub for pharmaceuticals and finance, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with multinational firms and regulatory bodies. You will analyze complex financial data, identify discrepancies, and implement best accounting practices in line with Swiss GAAP FER, IFRS, and local tax regulations. Your insights will be crucial for improving operational efficiency and supporting business decisions. Additionally, you may be involved in budgeting, forecasting, and advisory services. This role demands high ethical standards, precision, and a deep understanding of Swiss and international accounting frameworks.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3–5 years of professional accounting or audit experience
Proficient in Swiss GAAP FER, IFRS, and local tax regulations
Strong knowledge of accounting software (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication abilities in English; German proficiency is highly preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High attention to detail and strong ethics
Experience with multinational or pharma clients is an advantage
