Job Description:

As a Data Protection Officer based in Zurich, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of legal and regulatory tasks within the Swiss legal framework, with an emphasis on compliance, corporate law, and risk mitigation. This role involves interpreting laws and regulations, providing legal advice, and ensuring that organizational practices are aligned with all applicable legal standards. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to draft, review, and negotiate contracts, assess legal risks, and respond to regulatory inquiries. Depending on the position, you may handle litigation, intellectual property, data protection, or corporate governance. The role requires a keen understanding of Swiss and international legal systems, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex legal topics clearly. You will also support policy development and compliance audits, ensuring robust documentation and proactive issue resolution. Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of professional integrity, confidentiality, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving legal environment.

Job Requirement:

• Investigative analysis of financial crime cases

• Strong understanding of Swiss legal frameworks and compliance standards

• Experience working with cross-functional legal teams and stakeholders

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure legal environment

• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills

• Familiarity with digital tools and legal tech platforms

• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk mitigation

• Fluency in English and either French or German

• Demonstrated commitment to integrity and confidentiality

• Degree in law and relevant certifications for practice in Switzerland
