Job Description:
As a Forest Conservation Officer in Ankara, your role will focus on protecting and managing forest ecosystems within central Turkey, ensuring the sustainable use of forest resources while preserving biodiversity and ecological integrity. You will oversee activities such as reforestation, afforestation, fire prevention, illegal logging enforcement, and the protection of endangered flora and fauna. Your responsibilities will include conducting forest health assessments, coordinating conservation programs with local communities and government bodies, and implementing forest management plans that align with national policies and climate resilience goals. Given Ankara's proximity to both forested and urban areas, you will also participate in urban forest planning and public awareness campaigns to promote forest stewardship.
