Job Description: We are currently seeking a talented and experienced 3D Modeling & Rendering Specialist to join our team in New York. As a 3D Modeling & Rendering Specialist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models and realistic renderings for engineering and architectural projects. Your role will involve collaborating with designers, engineers, and architects to visualize and present design concepts. Key Responsibilities: 3D Modeling: Create detailed and accurate 3D models of engineering and architectural designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp. Ensure that models adhere to project specifications, dimensions, and design requirements. Material and Texture Application: Apply appropriate materials and textures to 3D models to achieve realistic representations of surfaces, finishes, and materials. Consider lighting conditions, reflections, and shadows to enhance visual quality. Lighting and Rendering: Set up virtual lighting environments and render scenes to produce high-quality, photorealistic images and animations. Utilize rendering software such as V-Ray, Corona, or KeyShot to achieve desired visual effects and realism. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and architects to understand project requirements and objectives. Interpret design intent and incorporate feedback to refine 3D models and renderings. Visualization and Presentation: Use 3D models and renderings to create compelling visual presentations for clients, stakeholders, and project reviews. Present designs in an engaging and informative manner to communicate design concepts effectively. Quality Control: Review and ensure the accuracy and consistency of 3D models, textures, and renderings. Conduct quality checks to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies. Industry Standards and Best Practices: Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and tools in 3D modeling and rendering. Follow industry standards and best practices to deliver high-quality visualizations. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of 3D models and renderings.
Job Requirement: Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. A degree in Computer Graphics or 3D Design is a plus. Proven experience in 3D modeling and rendering, preferably in an engineering or architectural setting. Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools. Strong understanding of material application, texture mapping, and lighting techniques. Experience with rendering software such as V-Ray, Corona, KeyShot, or similar applications. Knowledge of architectural and engineering design principles and terminology. Attention to detail and accuracy in creating and refining 3D models and renderings. Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements. Portfolio showcasing previous 3D modeling and rendering work is highly desirable. Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows is a plus.
